Hi all. Once again I am travelling, this time back to Poland, a new place for me, Katowice. Quite a small place, but still somewhere new I wanted to try, and for a total of £23.99, I couldn't say no. For a change to previous flights with Wizz Air, I was greeted with an older aircraft, one without sharklets, and sporting the old livery and interior, which I'm not a huge fan of, but fortunately for me I was only onboard for 2 hours so it wasn't too much of a bother.
Anyhow, a nice smooth flight ahead to Katowice. The flight was pretty much full, only a few empty seats about. The take off from Luton was smooth with some nice views of the surrounding areas. On the descent into Katowice there were some pretty impressive Cumulonimbus clouds, very pretty indeed so look out for those, also the landing into Katowice was quite windy, we were landing in a 25kt crosswind, so it made for an interesting and firm landing. It also began to rain after we arrived on stand
Overall a satisfying journey with Wizz Air, and apart from the poor legroom nothing much else to complain about, the crew were lovely as usual, everything else was top notch.
Later this day I flew onwards to Warsaw with LOT on a Dash 8 Q400, that was quite an interesting experience so look out for the flight video for that, as well as a short spotting compilation from Katowice Airport
